Sam Cooke (song of the week)

I have been on a massive blues kick for the past year at least. It has been wonderful.

This is the music I listen to in private for the most part, except for over Easter break when my cousin and I drove across Pennsylvania with the windows down and music filling our souls – Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters…ultimately, the parents of all modern music. This stuff fills up my ears and wipes out all stress. I am overwhelmingly overflowed with the beauty of it every time.

Also, this <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6azbeWRkhoE> gives me hope for my generation.
